Abstract

In the digital era, technology has become a major tool in learning media,with access to the internet, educational apps, and online resources, the learning process has become more interactive, flexible, and personalized. The researchaimed to determine whether the use of wordwall media as a teaching tool cansignificantly improve students' vocabulary acquisition compared to traditionalteaching methods. The method of this research was quantitative research. Thisresearch was used Trule-experimelntal design. The sample of this research isstudents in classes X Nursing SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro. The resultsdemonstrated that the experimental class experielnced a greater averageincrease than the control class. In the experimental class, the average pre-testscore was 68.19, and the average post-test score was 72.33, resulting in anaverage difference of 9.14. In contrast, the control class had an average pre-testscore of 64.48 and an average post-test score of 67.24, with an averagedifference of 2.76. In conclusion, this research provides strong evidence that thewordwall medium is an elffective tool for improving vocabulary mastery among grade X nursing students at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro. The Educators areencouraged to consider integrating this tool into their teaching practices to createmore interactive, engaging, and effective learning experiences for their stuldentsFuture researchers should explore the long-telrm effects of using interactivemedia like wordwall on vocabulary acquisition and other language skills.
