Abstract

This study aims to find out the effect and significant difference using Busuu application toward students listening skill at tenth grade in SMK N 3 Metro in academic year 2023/2024. Busuu application is an educational application to support listening skill. This research used quasi-experimental research with experimental and control group. Total of the population are 66 students. The results showed a significant improvement in the listening skills of the experimental group, based on the result of hypothesis testing for first hypothesis the result of significance value is <0.001< 0.05. It means that Ha accepted meanwhile Ho rejected. Then the second hypothesis the significance result of Two-Sided P is 0.001, 0.001 < 0.05, therefore it can be deduced that Ha is accepted and Ho rejected. The conclusion is Busuu application gave effect toward the listening skill of students and gave significant differences.
