Abstract
Junior High School 11 of West Tulang Bawang is a high school educational institution which is located at Candra Kencana, Central Tulang Bawang District, West Tulang Bawang Regency. Based on interviews conducted by the author, the school administration including the admission of new students (PPDB) was not yet fully computerized so that new students must come and fill out the registration form directly at the school. Given these problems, the purpose of this research is to design a web-based information system that is able to manage the implementation of new student admissions in schools. The research method used is Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with stages of analysis, design, coding, testing/verification, and maintenance. The result of this design is a website that makes it easy for prospective students to fill out forms for completeness of personal data, see the results of announcements and admins to provide assessments to prospective students. The disadvantage of this website is that users cannot print results directly from the website. Therefore, the authors hope that future researchers can correct these shortcomings.
